What Scripture says about animals
People who love and care for animals have a different perspective on many things than what is often considered ‘conventional’. We see this in their attitudes towards other living beings and, as time passes, we realize that these same people simply seem to have insights others lack.
In addition to those people whose aptitude with animals is obvious, it’s easy to observe that animals look for specific characteristics in people. In short, animals choose with whom they will share their souls.
While we get to choose our lives, they cannot. They are simply ‘born into’ their lot in life — and the lives people design for them are often without any consideration whatsoever for their feelings and they are, beyond a shadow of a doubt, sentient beings that long for human interaction.
It’s almost as though all animals are born with the thumbprint of God in their DNA — they are kind hearted and forgiving, compassionate with their young, loving towards their tribes.
