People that don’t understand ‘animal people’ are a different cut and, unfortunately, they’re pretty unlikely to change. They look at us pretty much the same way they look at animals: they simply don’t ‘get’ us.
It’s fine that they don’t — we aren’t on the same wavelength and our drive and ambition to provide a place for animal people to find kindred souls when dealing with all of the same issues everyone else faces when dealing with humans is simply [and basically] just lost on them — at least for the time being.
This doesn’t make one of us right and the other wrong, it’s just looking at life from a slightly different vantage point.
